Frequently asked questions.

Are you open year around?

No. We are closed during the summer months, from June to the end of September, and we are open from October to June next year.

How long can I stay?

Minimum is two weeks, and maximum is one month. However, if you wish to stay longer, you can write to us at hello@kotornest.me.

Can I come whenever I want?

This year we started hosting groups with fixed dates. However, we will try to meet individual requests depending on availability. Here are the dates for the next group of colivers:

  • 10 February - 9 March

  • 10 March - 6 April

  • 7 April - 4 May

If you want to stay 25 days, you can book the whole period and come a few days later or leave a couple of days earlier. For two weeks stay, please send us an email at hello@kotornest.me.

*It would be great if the two weeks that you want to book are the first two or the last two weeks of the period.

Why strict dates?

We have carefully considered various factors and feedback from our residents, which led us to the decision of implementing strict booking dates rather than offering flexible options, which was the case so far.

By implementing strict booking dates, we aim to create a more cohesive and immersive community experience at Kotor Nest. We believe that this approach enhances the quality of interactions, strengthens friendships, and facilitates a harmonious environment for collaboration and personal growth.

How is food organized?

There are several fully equipped kitchens and dedicated fridge space and dry storage for each room. Many times we organize family dinners where we share the cost and few people are in charge of cooking.

What is the cancellation policy?

We will charge only 20% of the booking price at the moment of reservation and it is fully refundable until 30 days before your arrival. For more details on our cancellation policy, read our Terms and Conditions.

Are there any community activities or events organized?

Yes, there are many activities, some of which you can see here. All activities are organized among the group, depending on the preferences.

What facilities and amenities are included?

High-speed internet (60+ Mbps), small on-site coworking space, communal kitchens, on-site laundry facilities, communal lounge areas, weekly room cleaning, towels, toilet paper, and similar.

What types of accommodation are available?

All of our rooms are private rooms, Comfort ones are with private bathrooms, and Standard rooms with shared (two rooms per bathroom). You can see photos and more details here.

Are you pet friendly?

Yes, if your pet is human-friendly.

We accept only small, apartment-friendly dogs.
P.S. Kotor is cat city, so it’s highly advisable that your dog is cat-friendly as well.

How can I reach Kotor Nest?

Kotor Nest is conveniently located in the heart of Kotor Old town. You can reach it by flying into Tivat Airport, which is approximately 7 kilometers away. Alternatively, you can arrive via Podgorica Airport, which is about 85 kilometers away. From either airport, you can take a taxi to Kotor Nest. We will help you organize it.

Who is it for?

‍Anyone who is working on a personal project or anyone with a remote job. But also a person who is open to coliving (where you support other colivers with small actions).

Kotor Nest is specifically designed to cater to the needs of digital nomads and remote workers. With high-speed internet, dedicated (co)working spaces, and a vibrant community of like-minded individuals, it offers an ideal environment for productivity, networking, and collaboration.
